Goodbye & Welcome!

A lot of fish boxes went out the door and many happy satisfied with a heck of a trip as we had 18 people depart the lodge this morning! Only a couple of boats went out for the day with them producing a great variety of fish. The weather held up in the morning for our departure flights but socked right back in for the rest of the day with the usual rain and cloud cover. We have many families arriving in the next few days so be sure to tune in to the pictures to come...

It was a pretty wet day here weather speaking with the wind kicking up slightly in the afternoon. A big portion of the fish were caught right at the mouth of the bay so we were able to bring back loads of fish and stay out of the swell at the same time. You can't beat fishing in right your front yard! Check out today's pics!

The weather conditions here at Yes Bay started out cool and slightly overcast in the morning. The Crawford's spent time working the bottom of the ocean at a depth of nearly 1,000 feet. They caused quite a commotion fighting a 16.1lb Rockfish called a Shortraker, one of the many species of Rockfish that inhabit Yes Bay fishing grounds.

The Crawford's, Father & Son, make a great team. Dropping their lines deep in the ocean's abyss, they hooked a number of Rockfish species including a 16.1lb Shortraker and a 10.8lb Halibut.
